Role Overview
UAPP is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth and expand our presence in Islamabad, Pakistan. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring an experienced and results-driven professional who can develop and implement sales strategies, manage a sales team, and drive business growth in the higher education sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international student recruitment and a proven track record in sales and business development within the education industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with UAPP’s business goals.
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Identify potential leads, nurture relationships, and convert them into long-term business opportunities.
- Business Development: Expand UAPP’s network by engaging with higher education institutions, schools, and key stakeholders in the education sector.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring they meet individual and collective targets.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.
- CRM Management: Use CRM tools to track leads, monitor progress, and improve sales performance.
- KPI Monitoring: Set up and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and office targets to ensure business growth.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutions, students, and partners to foster long-term business success.
- Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and insights to the Regional Director (Pakistan) and the Sales & Marketing Director (London).
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the higher education sector.
- At least 5 years of experience managing and growing sales teams in the HEI (Higher Education Institutions) sector.
- Strong understanding of international student recruitment and higher education processes.
- Experience using CRM tools to manage leads and sales pipelines.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market dynamics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A network with local schools, universities, and education stakeholders is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
